Ricordando i momenti: "the guy next door: david" (alicia green)

So i want to show ya'll my home sweet home. Although it had no heat or hot water for the first week, I now love it. It is small and modern with beautiful big windows and in the most amazing location!! My next door neighbor is literally the Uffizi gallery and the outside gallery of sculptures, which I am pretty sure all depict rapes. Anyway, here are some pictures of the inside of my apartment.

yes, we have a washing machine in the middle of our kitchen. I call this the livaundinkiting dining room..actually i don't. i just wanted to write it.

**interesting observation.. well I think so.: in the shower, the shower head and turn on handle are on opposite sides of the shower. In all the showers in America that I’ve seen, they are on the same side. I actually like the Italian way better- I don’t accidentally turn on the shower when I am upside down putting the towel on my head. It sucks when that happens by the way.

So now for the outside.. okay.. my house was hard to find on google earth before I came, but it is everywhere here!!! Even on postcards.. that’s right. Not only is the square I live in the most important square in all of Florence; my apartment is on a postcard. So here is the outside and the postcard. My apartment is building 1...right on the right of all the statues.
